2017 Boston Jolly Jaunt

Thank you for participating in our annual Boston Jolly Jaunt 5K! We hope you had a wonderful time at our festive 5K and we truly appreciate you kicking off your holiday season with us!

Need a Christmas Tree?!

Right now when you purchase a tree or wreath at Brooksies Fresh Christmas Trees and Wreaths in South Boston, $5 of your purchase will go to support Special Olympics Massachusetts this December!

In order to take part in this wonderful opportunity you will need to show Brooksies the tree donation flyer at the time of purchase. The flyer is available here on our website - Click on "Brooksies Christmas Tree Flyer" located on the left side information panel.

Brooksies is located at 680 Dorchester Ave. South Boston.

Brooksies delivers too!

This is a great opportunity to continue the holiday giving spirit with Special Olympics Massachusetts!

On Saturday, December 2nd runners and walkers will gather on the Boston Common to take part in the 13th annual Boston Jolly Jaunt presented by the New Balance Foundation. This professionally timed flat 5k course through Boston's Back Bay not only has a fun holiday theme with prizes for best costume and jingle bells for each participant, but also a goal to raise funds for Special Olympics Massachusetts!

Challenge Yourself!

Our athletes with intellectual disabilities have to overcome health, bullying, and societal challenges every day. We’re challenging you to step out of your comfort zone to fundraise and run on behalf of a Special Olympics athlete. As part of the Xtra Mile Challenge, you’ll pledge to raise $500 which will sponsor an athlete for one year and will allow them to overcome their own challenges through the power of sports. Just like we do with our Special Olympics athletes, we’ll give you the tools to succeed. Leading up to the race all participants will receive a personal fundraising web page, online fundraising tools that make fundraising easy, guidance and support from dedicated Special Olympics’ staff, additional incentive and gear options if you meet or exceed $500.

All participants will receive jingle bells to tie to your sneakers to help with the festivities and we encourage everyone to dress in your best holiday themed attire! We'll give out awards for the best costumes.
